Employer Information Sessions

The UO Career Center can help your organization or corporation host an Employer Information Session on the University of Oregon campus. These information events are a fantastic opportunity to introduce UO students to your company’s vision and future potential, and to recruit students for employment in a more intimate atmosphere than the UO Career Fair. Many employers chose to arrange these events just before or after each term’s primary Career Fair, in an effort to maximize their exposure to UO students.

Employers often hold information sessions the evening prior to Campus Interviews, but these can also be a great stand-alone event. Information sessions let you meet potential employees while providing students with essential information about your organization, selection criteria, career paths, and specific job openings that are available. Information sessions are typically held in the student union building (EMU) because of it's a central and familiar location. We can schedule an info session any time during the recruiting session, but please allow three weeks for scheduling.
