Recent headlines of the Oregonian stated that one in six Oregon students is Latino.  Oregon desperately needs bi-lingual teachers in our public schools.  Are you thinking about a teaching career?  Have you taken 1-2 years of college level Spanish?  Gain teaching experience abroad (in English), improve your Spanish and earn academic credit! 

Students can gain experience as a teacher’s aide or as a full classroom teacher.  Opportunities to teach English, or teach the following subject areas in English: Science, P.E., History, Art, Music, etc.   Pre-school, elementary school, middle school, and high school levels.  Opportunities to teach in Spanish for students who have a high level of proficiency.
