Navy Officer Program
To students who are seeking an exciting, different adventure after college, Navy Officer Programs has some amazing options. One of these students is University of Oregon junior Sean Jin, who recently swore into the Navy's Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program. "As I watched my older friends graduate, I realized that I didn't want to take the same path that they did: wandering aimlessly after college, wondering what to do," he says. The benefits of the BDCP ($2,500 a month until graduation) are helping him study and focus on school without having to worry about working over 20 hours a week to pay rent or paying expensive medical and dental fees. Sean mentions how being in the BDCP has changed his perspective on the remaining years of his college career. "Since I don't have to put in as much time into my job, I can spend more time being involved on campus and having fun with my friends. I am not worried about finding a job after college, so I am spending all my time making the rest of my college time fulfilling and exciting."
Find the United States Navy at the Fall Career Fair, November 8 in the EMU Ballroom.
