This workshop will teach you a technique on how to develop your own interview stories so that no matter what interview question is posed, you will be prepared to put your best foot forward. This seminar will help you increase your interviewing confidence by teaching specific examples of how you can make a difference for your future employer by communicating your strengths and accomplishments.

Opportunity of the Week: scholarship available to intern in Washington D.C. & a great opportunity at Hynix Semiconductor
 The UO Alumni Association National Capital Chapter awards one $1000 D.C. Intern Scholarship annually to a UO undergraduate or graduate student participating in an internship program in the Washington, D.C, metropolitan area. The goal of the D.C. Intern Scholarship Program is to facilitate skills and career development through interactive hands-on work experience. It is designed to assist you with some, but not all of the living and/or travel expenses incurred during your internship. The National Capital Chapter welcomes applications from any UO student without regard to age, race, gender, disability, or ethnicity.
The scholarship is $1000 and the application deadline is May 15, 2007. The recipient will be notified by June 1, 2007.

 Do you know a student who is looking to get involved on campus, develop some leadership skills, enhance their resume and begin networking with potential employers? The UO Career Center is currently accepting applications for a newly established Student Advisory Board. The opportunity is open to all students interested in contributing to the continued development of the UO Career Center.
The Student Advisory Board will assist the UO Career Center in ensuring that current programs and services and those being considered meet student needs and interests.

Santa Fe Police Department is coming to campus!
 The Santa Fe Police Department (New Mexico) will be on campus May 10th, 11th and 12th. They will have an info table in the EMU from 12 to 3 on the 10th and from 9 to 4 on the 11th and will be interviewing in the Umpqua Room and Century Room on the 11th and 12th.
